I’m a 61 year-old Dentist practicing in Plymouth from my wheelchair. I have been practicing dentistry for 33 years, 13 years in Woodland and 20 years in Plymouth.
I was paralyzed on April 11, 2010, flying over the handle bars of a dirt bike, landing head first into a rock. The rest as they say is history.
I’m humbled and feel very privileged to have been asked to serve on the board. I hope I can help this wonderful support group to grow, reach out to others and help in any way I can.
One of my heroes already serves on the board, Amy Morrison. She has been an inspiration since the day I was injured and we are all lucky to have Lynn Murray, a tireless advocate of those of us who have more challenges than the “walkies”.
I would be happy if I could help just one person on their altered way of life to push your limits. There is nothing we can’t do except climbing ladders. That’s dangerous anyway.
